那么一般的（智能水泥撒布车）有三种取力方式，一种是侧取力，就是通过取力器取底盘上变速箱的力。这是比较常见一种取力方式，一种是全功率取力器，全功率取力器虽然也是取底盘发动机的力，但是是直接跳过变速箱直接取主底盘发动机的力，通过变速箱一般能取到主底盘发动机百分之40左右的动力，而用全功率取力能取到主底盘发动机百分之70的动力。所以比起侧取力，全功率式动力更加强劲。还有一种就是副发动机。就是在底盘侧方在安装一个小发动机，双发动机工作模式，上装的工作动力直接脱离底盘独自运作，这样的好处就是在不启动底盘的情况下可以喷洒沥青，这就是完全可以实现车辆0起步喷洒，而且车辆在行驶过程中，换挡上坡都不会影响沥青的喷洒量。等于说车辆行驶动力来源于底盘发动机，而车辆上装工作动力就来源于另外一个副发动机。
