1、满载的撒布车在行驶过程中，应采用中速行驶，遇有弯道、下坡路时应提前减速，尽量避免紧急制动；这是因为沥青罐体内的沥青为液态流体状，行驶过程中其车辆不稳定，容易偏离，在上述情况下更加严重。

2、检查机械、洒布装置及防护、防火设备是否齐全。采用固定式喷灯向沥青箱的火管加热时，应先打开沥青箱上的烟囱口，并在液态沥青淹没火管后，方可点燃喷灯。加热喷灯的火焰过大或扩散蔓延时应立即关闭喷灯，待多余的燃油烧尽后再行使用。喷灯使用前，应先封闭吸油管及进料口，手提喷灯点燃后不得接近易燃品；行驶时严禁使用加热系统。

3、沥青撒布车驾驶员与机上操作人员应密切配合，操作人员应注意自身的。作业时在喷洒沥青方向10m以内不得有人停留，以免造成事故。
